my mom and dad both skated on the Bay Bombers for over 20 years...my mom is Carol "Peanuts" Meyer and my dad is " Dynamite"Tony Roman...Charlie O is no longer skating..my father was also on the T-Bird's with Charlie O back in 1974..i have pictures of them both on the T-Bird's

Does Charlie O still involved in rolller derby or is he retired? In any case, they were exciting moments, especially when Atkinson Jr, Trotter, Porky Parker visited Charlie O and his team - sparks would fly - I do remember at the end Charlie did skate with the Thunderbirds and Ronny Raines for a bit taking on the Warriors, and other midwest teams. He left a legacy in skating.

Good to see Charlie O on film... takes me back when derby was King and I mean bigger than anything full houses all over the place... of course we have to thank Charlie for that.
