The men in my family hang onto bulk like its going out of style yet I am as conditioned as any athlete at my university and in fact have on a challenge outdid some of the wrestling team at their drills on one occasion last year, which being twice their size they couldnt believe lol! @Mv181293 A teen who is physically active on a regular basis is a good thing. Dont quit no matter what! Stay active, have fun and kick ass! Crossfit rocks. I like creative programs that make stuff fun and off the beaten path of the usual gym business of lifting weights or running on a machine all day. I am 6'2 and 270 pds (thats in shape) and even I can do things ppl never thought a guy my size could. You keep pushing yourself and varying the program, you will do amazing things :D
@shkotay I do Crossfit just 2 times a week (sometimes 3) (I'm just 17 years old xD). My father is founder of a Crossfit affiliate in Holland ^^. My brother is going to the Regionals of Europe this June :D.
@Mv181293 I do like crossfit stuff though. I follow the never gymless program by Ross Enamait which has similarities. Lots of creative stuff to do on the cheap and conditioning ftw!! Hell anybody getting up off their asses to do some dirty work in the gym or around town is good anyday of the week, and you are right, however they do it is up to them long as ppl are exercising!
@Mv181293 Well to do box jumps like this :P means my tongue has to be on the mat, and the only way to get that to happen is to have a class full of chicks in yoga pants walk by while I am jumping around. Quite painful I say lol! My coaches used to insist on the form I mentioned previously, clean jumps or I had to redo em lol!
But beside,, Crossfit is way more effective (is proved with fitness-people doing crossfit,, and crossfit-people doing fitness,,,, Crossfit people were way more better)

In August I'm on a Crossfit Trainer Certification.
And it's funny to see a personal trainer with a muscled body, who's not as strong as me :P

@shkotay Haha, well, but that's your workout for that time. That doesn't mean the actual movement has to be that way.
There are for every movement variations :)
