Shooting my 9mm Springfield XD-9 with Streamlight TLR-3 at the range. This is probably the best balance of high speed and accuracy ive shot to date. Look at that 3 shot grouping on the bottom plate!
Note: The XD had a Failure to Feed in the clip due to my cold hands slipping off too soon and not getting a full rack of the slide, meaning I didnt bring the slide back far enough to get behind the bullet to push it into the barrel, so friction stopped the slide from going forward. This is the only malfunction this XD9 has ever had in 1500 rounds and I consider it 100% reliable. This is also not a mistake I have ever made before or since. Lesson learned. =)
Also, we only loaded 10 rounds at a time to make the ammo supply last longer. The XD9 holds 16+1 at full capacity. We are shooting Federal 95gr JSP's.
