Masterpiece!

I have heard this live in 1974 in Liaqat memorial Hall and no doubt it is Ustaad Amanat Ali Khan. No one has sung this better than him even his sons Amjad, Asad & Shafqat failed to reach the same level.

Height of vocal rendition and performance is right on top.Does there live a vocalist who has better voice then this in the realm of classical rendition.Hats off to singer.

Guy, I am a big fan of Hamid Ali Khan, however if you will listen to the ending of this song, you will know that only Ustad Amanat Ali Khan could have sung this. I have heard him sing this when Hamid Ali Khan was probably in diapers.

@MaInPyo Its Amanat Ali voice . The degree of voice softness in this raag was only generate from the great Amanat Ali Marhoom. No one else even Asad Amanat , Hamid can touch his high quality.
husnain 62 is saying right, its not ustad amanat ali's voice, anyway its very well sung by ustad hamid ali khan.

Dear MaInPyo
listen at 2:14 to 2:34..whose voice is this?? Hamid ALi???not at all..lets say its Hamid then where is Asad's voice.
then go on 3:35..these vocals are by Ustad Fateh.. neither Hamid nor Asad can do this job in such nice way.i ll recommend u to listen thumri of Ustad Amanat and Fteh Baajay chhun chhun(i ve uploaded that)then compare voices.and if u wish ican give u some other ragas and vocal music of these Maestros, u can easily differentiate then.
anyway thnx for pointing this out

Dear Tauseefqae !
Really thanks to point out the things in such a manner. I listened Baajay chhun chhun as well. and after that i am convinced infact its ustad amanat ali's great voice. i was confused but now i am very much clear.
One characteristic of Ustad Amanat's voice,i.e. contentment and softness is very well genentically transferred to the cavity of Hamid ali.
Dear , i really appriciate your work. keep it on.

thnx MaInPyo ji..you r right..sometimes Hamid Ali's voice seems to be Ustad Amanat voice.they have very similar voice but Hamid Ali lags behind in delivery of words and vocals.
a few days ago i ve uploaded Aye watan pyarey watan by Hamid Ali khan(search "Aye Watan Pyare Watan - Hamid Ali Khan" in youtube to get it)..in first look u cant say its not by Ustad Amanat Ali..start is almost same..but when we ll reach in middle it satrts creating difference..vowels delivery is important to note

u can say in "aakar" Ustad Amaant was more perfect..(aakar and ragi are two main singing methods) All great ustad used Aakar/iikar
---
In Urdu its difficult to tell wat aakaar is(in Urdu these are not letters)in Hindi Aakaar/iikaar is also known as Maatra(below)..and all vowels are considered in this class all other words are called Sawar(together called Wainjen/ haroof e tahajji)
