Try search on google I find this screens have problems with capacitors maybe that happen in your monitor

@oscartorradom Yeah, well since I got my new computer I got a new monitor. However the way I got around this was to start up the computer with the monitor turned OFF and wait until you hear the boot up tune. At that point you can press the power button and wiggle the mouse like crazy. The monitor will then display what you need to see... Also another way to get around it when it starts blinking like that is to unplug the power cable then plug it back in and wiggle the mouse like crazy...

@plentyoflife haha no, but I found a way to get around this. I basically turn on my computer and everything except my monitor, and wait for the computer to fully boot up (I hear that Windows start up tune) then I turn on the monitor and wiggle my mouse or continuously press the space key numerous times repeatedly until the monitor will actually turn on and stay on! :)
