@i24kilzz Three points (1) I haven't been paying attention since I am happy with my Kuro and wasn't aware of what other manufactuers were making (2) Until OLED is viable, plasma is the best option for contrast (3) You are rude motherfucker and a troll and I hate trolls.

@i24kilzz Not from what I have read the Pioneer Elite Kuro is still king. Take a look at Consumer Reports, the leaders in Plasma now are Panasonic and Samsung not Sharp.

@i24kilzz Kuro was the division within Pioneer, not elite.. try to know what you're talking about first...anyone with a half a clue and knows anything about plasma,s, will telll you Pioneer Kuro were the best plasma's on the market, still to this day, Tv's are compared to the Pioneer kuro elite....Pioneer stopped making plasma because they refused to lower their standards and put out a cheap plasma product which the market is flooded with today..end of story. Sharp is a cheaper product!

Lol, Elite was sort of a company only they didn't produce stuff by themself a other company did that, first Pioneer did that, with their own ideas they put in the tv, now Sharp produces them with them ideas in the tv, which is the best choice, Sharp.

Nothing, and I mean nothing compares to a pioneer kuro, nothing.. Blacks are thee hardest color to reproduce on a plasma, the kuro is unmatched, period...

@riffnark You saw bad one. Most experts agree that it will be 5-6 years before any company produces a plasma as good as Pioneer and 10 years before LCD can match it.
