Jimmi Hendrix ist tot! Es lebe Jimmi Hendrix!
Kaum ein anderer Gitarrist hat so viel für „das Brett mit ein paar Saiten drauf" getan, wie der schwarze Mann aus Seattle.
Ach ja, der Mann, der sein Produkt „Broadcaster" so despektierlich benannte, war niemand anderes als -Clarence Leonidas Fender-, the Master himself! Der Mann, der einem Musikinstrument einst Weltgeltung verschaffte. Dem Instrument, das dem Rock`n Roll durch Klang und Lautstärke Platz „zum Atmen" gab.
Gitarren waren es, die seinerzeit die „verschnarchte Generation der Eltern" das Fürchten lehrte.
Und so ist es nur streng logisch, dass diese frühen Exemplare es immer wieder schaffen, wahre Völkerscharen, die nicht selten hunderte von Kilometern zurücklegen, durch ihren Anblick in Verzückung versetzen.
Und wo könnte man sich besser an alten Telecasters, Statocasters, Mustangs, Jaguars oder Jazz-Masters erfreuen, nur weil sie von ihren stolzen Besitzern gezeigt werden, als in Veenendaal in den Niederlanden?
Nun gut, des freundlichen Radiobastlers Produkte aus Anaheim in California, stellen höchstens die Hälfte der Faszination für elektrische Gitarren dar.
Hier mischen auch Paulas und SG`s und „Big Boxes" von Gibson kräftig mit. Diese Äxte mit dem ganz besonderen „Flair der Unvergänglichkeit" stehen ebenfalls ganz hoch in der Achtung der Gitarre-Verrückten auf der Welt.
Am letzten Samstag war es mal wieder soweit!
In der holländischen Provinz wurde beinahe aus allen Ecken des Veranstaltungsortes das Repertoire eines Jimmi Hendrix oder eines B.B.King geklampft.
Es schien tatsächlich noch so sein, dass die ganz großen Cracks der gezupften Saiten hier versammelt waren.
Beinahe alles was Gitarren ausmacht war zu vernehmen. Mal besser und daneben grottenschlecht präsentiert.
Möglicherweise ist es genau diese Mischung, die Veenendaal zweimal im Jahr, beinahe unverzichtbar macht.
Und wenn es Jimmi ist, der am meisten kopiert wird, so würde es ihm und auch Leo ganz bestimmt Freude machen.
Ach ja, Leo hatte das Zupfen auf einem seiner Bretter, stets bewusst vermieden.

No other guitar player has done so much for "the board with a few strings on it" done, as the black man from Seatle.
Oh yes, the man who his product "Broadcaster" so disrespectfully named was none other than -Clarence Leonidas Fender-, the Master himself! The man who once gave a musical instrument the staat of international standing. The instrument, which gave the Rock `n Roll sound and volume and "space to breathe ".
Guitars were the ones who taught at this time the "sleepy generation of parents" the reason to fear.
And so it is only strictly logical that these early originals, do it again and again, true international crowds, that often hundreds of miles to put through their vision in raptures.
And where could you be better of old Telecasters, Statocasters, Mustangs or Jazz Masters enjoy just because they are shown by their proud owners, as in Veenendaal, the Netherlands?
Well, the friendly radio hobbyist products from Anaheim, California give a maximum of half the fascination with electric guitars.
Here also Paulas, SG `s and" Big Boxes "by Gibson vigorously. The axes with the very special "flair of immortality" are also very high in the esteem of the guitar-craziests in the world.
