  • @carbonvessel

It's Seal, "Kiss from a rose"!

  • Great. NOW I am afraid of going the dentist.

  • sounds like harrison ford!

  • Is that Lighthouse Family in the background?

  • @goldfingerly The meter wasn't designed for continuous monitoring. The meter was designed to give an indication if it's safe to leave a shelter after a nuclear event. I suppose using it daily "may" indicate an increase in ionizing radiation day to day, but that's only a guess on my part.

  • This guy looks like his life is going swimmingly.

  • I actually have a few "real" fallout meters and KI03. I know some folks who know you. Kirk Paradise is a friend of mine. I just wanted to know how to build a KFM so that if I'm cought out somewhere and need to build one in case of an emergency.

  • @goldfingerly As of now I wouldn't think so. The meter loses charge naturally and any spike in radiation would be below what's naturally in the environment.

  • Will this meter detect any fallout rad from the Japan nuke reactor release from the past two days if I am in LA? I would guess that the these ill winds are on the way?

  • I wish you'd show how to build this thing from household materials and tell what you used to make it, so that if we were NOT near a KFM or an actual CDV 700 or something, we could build one of these at work or where ever we are at the time of a nuclear incident.
