Tales of Vesperia - Grade Farming is Fun

*PLEASE READ THE VIDEO DESCRIPTION*

Well, I'm doing Grade Farming to get enough Grade to beat my 2nd playthrough fast. Why fast? cause I want to do the cameo battles but I missed the event to unlock it in my first playthrough, so I have to start again the game.

Grade Farming is fun... until you get to 1000 hits, then its just boring to keep doing, so its better to finish the battle, especially if you messed up XD

Skills:
- Spell End
- Overlimit Boost
- Minimum Damage (doing 1 damage)

and everyone else is helping with the overlimit by taunting.

Also, do it in Hard Mode to get more grade and equip a Blue Dice to get more Grade bonus.

PS: to make people taunt just make their "action" in the strategy be Defend and they will sit doing nothing or taunting if they have the taunt skills equiped.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what, but I've gone through the entire game and not gotten a single point in grade, I tried doing this tactic here, and even without the milky way +1, spell speed, and the blue dice I got the hit counter to the 800's and the FS chain to about 500 or so, yet I still got not one fricking grade point, it's pissing me off and I need to know what I'm doing so wrong that jewing me outta the points

I have 2 blue dice equipped ( couldnt get the third :\ ), have the game on hard mode, have the 1 damage ability and use tidal wave over and over again no problem and went up to 2000 hits and over 100 chains but when I finish the battle I only got about 280 grade! How come you get so much more? Also when I get in a fight I get atleast 4 monsters together, what else am I doing wrong? Why is my grade so much less?

@zapperydoop it's because he's in Overlimit Level 3. For Rita (not sure about the rest), there is no TP consumption as long as she's at level 3 or higher.

My highest score so far is just under 1500 hits (I prefer to stick to level 1 overlimit, and just have my teammates use Pineapple Gels to restore my TP). I could have done better, but I slipped up and forgot to go back into overlimit at the end...

better way of doing this, have repede have lightning dog and rita have golden cat, over 900 hits withing 2 minutes.

you need the half, quarter, and minimum damage skills learned which is accessed by certain weapons and secondary weapons (an example being yuri's compact sword + 1)

You can also synthesize the Last Fencer. You need to have synthesized pretty much ever other sword and it will appear, but be prepared, it requires 5 of each color star gems, which can be a pain unless you fs chain like in this video.
