During a recent interview with a reporter, I mentioned the importance of living on what you make. To me, this is a no-brainer. Its the most basic of financial precepts and the foundation of financial health.

I've been frugal all my life, long before it became in style. I wear my tightwad badge proudly. I like the freedom a frugal lifestyle gives me too. No debt, (except for a mortage payment) and a little bit of savings for hard times. That means much more to me purchasing things to impress people I don't even like. :)

IMAO, I wish I have never saved into 401K, I should have just spent everything when I was making it. What needs to happen, rapidcity is that people get paid a little more fairly and have a little more job security and everything would change, culture and all. Rich people in america are financially raping everyone else.
