@nirvanawd08 Listen "I am the Greatest", from Ringo Starr. When he shouts "I'm the greatest! and you better believe it, baby!" sounds like the the scream in Helter Skelter. That's another proof that Ringo yelled that famous line!

I totally feel Ringo's pain. One time, I was playing bass a lot in rehearsal, and my fingers started to hurt. I had the exact same reaction!

He would have been able to shout the line even sitting in front of the drums, the panoramic microphones for cymbals would have captured the sound :)

Yeah. And for the same reason when you dig long enough with a shovel, or use a handsaw for a while, you'll get blisters.
