TEXES Principal Examination Competency Overview

The TEXES Principal Examination is divided into nine competencies. Jim Becka, an administration student with Lamar University provided this overview and quiz (at the end). Becka is a journalism teacher and former writer/producer for UT-TV, producers of the Texas Health Report featuring Dr. James "Red" Duke. Comments and suggestions for future videos are appreciated.

I like the videos, but I was wondering if there is anything else out there?  I have taken the test twice and i have failed. I would like to see more in the Instruction domain. Domain II is the one that I scored the lowest on. But your videos are a lot of help anyways. thanks a million!

Great overview of the competencies. I think it helps to know which competency each question from the test relates to, since many questions have two correct answers (Only one will relate to the competency).
