Let The Quran Speak -
It is commonly known that men have traditionally led the ritual prayer (salah) in a mosque (or in a public prayer). Br Shabir gives us his analysis of the Quran and hadith related to this ruling.
Segment aired on October 25, 2008 on CTS
This is to reply the video can a woman lead men in a prayer congregation? It is mentioned in Al-Targheeb Book of Salaah Hadith # 336 Prophet s.a.w said: The best mosque for a woman to pray is her own house. Another Hadith in Masnad Ahmad Vol..6 Hadith #27202 A woman asked the holy Prophet s.a.w that "I love to pray with you" Prophet said, I know you love to pray with me but the best place for you to pray is your own house.

@mayflowerstein If a woman walks the streets naked she is as much as fault for being glanced at, as the man who stares at her. Man did not come up with the reasoning of how woman and men should pray. God is alot smarter than you, if you want to make your own religion then go ahead. Yes everyone is acountable for his/her actions, so think before you say "if a man is checking out a woman its his own fault". LOL

I personaly think that this is way to much. Just do as the profeet (peace be upon him) did. Man led the prayers everywhere, so live it like that. Because changing or wanting things that brings confusion into islam is very bad for the person who does that. Just have some respect and do exactly how the profet did. Or you want to bring change and confusion which means you are with devil who is despreate to do harm. Than we can deal with that with the words of Allah, the Quran.

@MsYouthink Just because it hasn't happened before doesn't mean it is forbidden. That's like saying the first Muslims prayed by candlelight so we shouldn't be allowed to light mosques with electricity. Unless you provide a verse explicitly stating a woman cannot in the Quran or at least provide some logical reason why they shouldn't then you really can't say it's wrong. To do so would be jumping to conclusions.

we as Muslims are order to follow the book and the Sunnah. Allah also order us to follow the noble companions. There is no report to say that women lead the prayer...are we not happy with their actions? did Allah not made them a model to be followed. the problem is not the text or the understanding of the text rather the problem is western sickness...what i mean is that those idea are alien to Islam. we need to talk from the text with the understanding of the salafi.

@MsYouthink Well it appears that's only bringing it up for discussion and scrutiny. Although he does not provide a reference exactly of where women can lead the prayer, he does bring up the point that there is no reference that women specifically cannot lead the prayer. I really don't see the problem, though I wonder what it would be if there was one.

women leading the prayer is a issue for those who want to make a issues. we are fully aware of our religious principles and we know from the ijma of the muslims that women can not lead the prayer as this man is suggesting...who made him THE MAN. PLEASE GIVE SOME REFERENCE WHERE IT SAY WOMEN CAN LEAD THE PRAYER.
