@mickeydchs Leukemia is a silent killer. Unless you are bruised and bleeding... most people do not understand cancer of the immune system. What a beautiful song to pay as tribute to your brother.

Pure magic, Willie!! A beautiful, haunting song - bitter/sweet. Very few artists can sing as well if not better live; Willie is one of these artists!!!

We played this at my little brothers funeral six years ago.He was diagnosed w/ AML...leukemia at 23 years old and passed away 10 months later....bone marrow transplants didn't work, but this song was my savior."I'd rather see you up than see you down.Leave me if you need to, I will still remember angel flying too close to the ground" and his ex that said he was faking cancer to get her back...yikes
