As far as the TV show goes, yes they will come back but I dont know when.

The primary objective is to make the best possible car. Number of cylinders is subordinate.

V8 is the most efficient structure. A larger engine block means more wheight, which is any hypercars worst enemy.

Its about finding perfect balance all things considered.

in our current world struggling for environmental survival, i think it's very plausible to use engines with lesser cylinders with lesser working parts and at the same time with less displacement but churns a lot of power! you guys think that power always means v12 in a supercar..lets think again, even the GTR has only 6 cylinders yest can still beat some of the best supers out there!!

The fact that Italians dominate the world of sports cars is enough proof that it is possible to compete with them. They aren't good at anything! The Koenigsegg is an awesome car. Would do anything to own an Agera R! :)

the koenigsegg ccr never beat the mclaren f1's topspeed. The Maximum highest speed ever recorded by a mclaren f1 is 391kmh. The fastest the ccr ever went on nardo is 390kmh.
