AMS Performance NOS Energy Drink Time Attack EVO X competes in the 2009 Super Lap Battle Finals at Buttonwillow Raceway. Unfortunately during the competition the car suffered a steering line rupture which led to a small fire. The team was unable to participate any further ending up with a 4th place finish. Luckily the car was repairable and the team was able to compete at the 2009 Redline Time Attack finals 3 days later.

Unreal that there were empty extinguishers at BW.... during an event!
It is crazy that AMS was able to get TAX back up and running strong for the finals after this..... even with the local help from Rado, it was crazy.

Dam that sucks, that had to happen, Martin Musial isn't there any aftermarket fire retardant product that you can use for your wires and other lines you have, if there isn't, I would if i was you to make some,if theres is some make some better ones,,(carbon-carbon) lines like NASA uses. just a thought, You guy's do great work keep it up.
