After her successful collaboration with Elvis Costello on 'For the Stars,' Anne Sofie von Otter continues to explore the terrain of popular music with a second album. This recording celebrates the music of ABBA tracks such as "The Winner Takes it All" and "I am Just a Girl" with emotional ballads from the musicals 'Kristina' and 'Chess,' including 'Ut Mot' and 'Heaven Help My Heart.' The album's folk, jazz, pop, and classical arrangements are performed by Scandinavia's finest jazz and folk musician, and Benny Andersson himself.
