Firstly, this video has been sent out here to find out if people like what I'm teaching. I'm in the process of setting up a dedicated website for Ableton Live Tuition and I wanted to test the water here.

This video shows how I build up my own sound using an instrument rack, with 2 vsts. Then how to set up the macro controls so I can control more than one parameter of the plugins with just one knob.

Then it goes on to show how to add some sidechain compression to the sound to give it more texture and make way for the beat.

I hope it gives you some ideas...........

@JnSxRecordz hahaha, I'll tell you why. When you spend so much time building websites etc you inevitably use your desktop for easiness. (Well I do anyway)

About once a week I have to clear off all the shite :D

@CeciDJing I am impressed with the Akai APC40. However I can't drag myself away from my oldskool midi controllers. I have fallen in love with my emu xboard and my u-control! :D
