Myskina was the first female Russian to win a Slam and any professional player would pick a Grand Slam victory over a gold medal or No. 1 place or 20 other tournament victories. She isn't remembered well because her career was cut short.

Oh Elena - the problem with her game was that she took the ball so much later than many of thetop players. She had the athleticism, groundstrokes and even a decent serve later on. But watch her match v. Justine Henin at the AO 2010 - Justine takes theball so much earlier and takes time away from her opponent.
