The first time "God" speaks to you be very, very careful.

If you must call out to God in your hour of need, may I suggest you begin with the following...

"To the Creator of the Universe. If you can hear me, then hear me now, for I am in Despair. I know you are not the Creator of the Bible, or of the Qur'an, or any of the gods written of by Man..."

  • @chriswooten7 Sorry, batshitcrazy troll isn't someone I'm going to try to have a discussion with. I wasn't born with knowledge and curiosity about God, that was brainwashed into me as an infant. People I know who were raised Atheist have never been given him a thought. Evolution is based on literally billions of pieces of actual physical evidence. God is created by humans in their own cruel image. Read your bible and see just how evil god really is. Go troll somewhere else.

  • @RationalDrinker Wow, that's deep. You know, I try to find the ones who want help, or truly have questions. Scoffing, childish 'adults' are not where my time will be invested. Ignorance is bliss, right? Anyone who makes effort to carry the things like bitterness, envy, rage, self-pity, has a choice. Some know something's wrong, and want to know there's an option. While some want to keep the dead weight, and get some kind of satisfaction from the excuses, like it 'justifies' for their character.

  • @chriswooten7 Hahaha your an idiot

  • @chriswooten7 Also, the 'God' of the Qur'an is not the living God. He's a dead god, an idol, just like evolution. Deny all you wish, you have faith. Maybe it's in the government, maybe the economy, maybe pleasure, power and control, sex, money, drugs or alcohol, whatever you have expectations of to bring you satisfaction is your god. The major difference in humans is that they were made to worship something. You have faith in the giver of life, or things given or created. There's no escaping it.

  • @imthedonna So, all the claims that there is no absolute truth only applies to God. My redeemer lives, and your disbelief harms yourself more than anyone, although it does affect others, because it drives your thoughts, which drive your actions. Ignorance is bliss, as anyone can 'cherry pick' negative evidence to support their self-deluded desires. Evopollution is the greatest example of this I can offer. You were born with knowledge and curiosity about God, it takes work to suppress this.

  • @chriswooten7 There is no God. I'm glad you take comfort in your delusions. Read the entire Bible, not just the parts cherry picked. I am much happier now that I see and openly live the truth. The evil perpetuated by the God of the Bible, Qur'an and other religious texts exactly mirrors the evils done in the name of these religions. We are not made in God's image, God is fashioned by us in ours.

  • @imthedonna I'm sorry to hear that, dear. I'm sorry you were misguided by people who were obviously narrow-minded and biased. God doesn't expect us to tolerate abuse like you speak of. However, He is real, He does love you, and being set free of pain and bondage is not religious, not complicated. We need God, plain and simple. Many people are led astray by selfish motives and desires. There's a huge difference in knowing about God, and knowing the living God. People can embitter you to deception

  • this is why I can't bring myself to talk openly with my dad about atheism. my dad is a smart guy, very critical of a lot of things, but he lost his dad ten years ago, and I remember how sad that time was.
