If you have a minute, please answer these questions too:

1) As first impressions go, do you like Irving?

2) From the perspective of someone on a job search in sales, would you consider his dealership?

3) From the perspective of someone who has a negative image of automotive salespeople, does it make you reconsider that stereo-type?

4) From the perspective of a buyer, would you consider buying from this dealer?

  • Yes I like Irving. Yes I would consider his dealership, if only to improve moral and customer service. I have been to Future Ford in Sacramento and was treated very badly. I would not consider a ford in the future.

  • @lumberman2010 Thank you for your candid answer. That sort of honesty needs to be present if they are ever going to get better at what they do.

  • yes i do like mr irving matthews because he sounds like a honest hardworking man who looks out for his employees. not many managers can say that nowadays. i would consider his dealership because from the employees he teaches it sounds like they would be truthful and would work with people to get things taken care of.... it wouldnt make me reconsider mainly just because i like honesty and i would deffiently like to know everything while im making my buys. ideffiently buy from this dealer...

  • I was once invited to a TK Worldwide training session. While they are training you for actual positions with a dealership, TK Worldwide charges you for the training session after before letting letting the dealership managers talk to you, and avoids telling you they will be charging you $300 until the very end of their training, even when you ask them directly how much it will cost. I was told it was for the 'textbook', which was just a photocopied book of hand-written notes on how to sell cars.

  • I appreciated the hometown "folksy" story-telling of how his dedication to an ideal plus hard work & treating people right has helped grow this dealership. He has a sincere connection to both the customers and his employees. The video helps to personalize the man behind the dealership.

  • My first impression of Irving was that he is a genuinely nice guy. In a world where most people have a negative opinion of car salesmen he is very "refreshing". Most people don't have the chance to see the story behind the dealership and the people who work there. As far as wanting to work at his dealership, definitely! He seems like a really down to earth boss. In respect to buying a car from there, definitely!

  • Irving is the exact kind of dealership owner that both customers and employees want to work with. He has a very grounded personality, and I have no doubt that his customers truly feel like they have had a wonderful experience when they do business at Prestige Ford.

  • Great video! Second time I have viewed.

  • i would like to apply for this possotion

  • Wonderful

  • Love it! Employees come first and then customers...because, with happy employees come happy customers...

  • Yes I like Irving, he is very ambitious and concerning, yes I would consider his dealership. Yes it changed the perspective if what I had about a car sales person. Yes I would consider buying they seem like they are really concerned about the people not all about making money.
