Sonic Chefs? - Christmas Tree Cake

Kn: Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone! :D Amy, Cream, Rouge, and Blaze try to bake a towering Christmas Tree Cake, but they're missing an ingredient - M&M's for the ornaments! It's up to Sonic, Shadow, and Silver to find the last bag in town.

CHRISTMAS TREE CAKE RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
2 boxes of cake mix (To bake two separate cakes)
1 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
White Frosting
Food Coloring (Green)
1 bag plain chocolate M&M's
Twizzlers (Licorice) candy

INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Follow the instructions on your cake mix to bake two cakes
(For our cake we used, it said to preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Then we mixed 1 box of cake mix, 1 cup water, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, and the three eggs into a bowl. Then we baked the cake for 28 to 33 minutes. Then, we did the whole process a second time with the other box of cake mix. Follow the instructions on whatever kind of cake mix you're using - it might be different than the instructions we had. ^_^)

2) After the cake has finished cooling completely, put it on a flat surface.

3) Cut the two cakes into 5 square pieces - make each square smaller than the last one.

4) Place the largest cake square down on a plate or serving dish. Frost the whole thing with green frosting (which you can make by adding the green food coloring to the white frosting).

5) Place the second largest cake square down on top of the first. Frost it completely. Repeat this process until you have stacked and frosted all five squares.

6) Put a barbecue skewer through the center of your cake, to help keep it stable.

7) Use plain chocolate M&M's as Christmas tree ornaments. Just stick them into the frosting all around the cake. You may even wrap Twizzlers or licorice around the cake as garlands.

1) If the volume is completely messed up, I'm so sorry. :( I spent an hour and a half trying to make it louder, but when I made it louder than this, the audio quality sounded like a microphone explosion. O__O;; You might need to listen to this with headphones. :(

2) YES. We failed this recipe. xD Our cake mix was too soft and moist, so our poor towering cake didn't stand a chance when a small earthquake shook our house in the middle of the night. xD Poor little cake...! There are some tips at the end of this video, just in case you want to try this recipe and NOT ruin it. xD Good luck!

Aw, so cute! You guys make cooking even more fun than it normally is! That's saying a lot, I used to bake all the time as a little kid. Over the summer sometimes, I would make homemade ice cream with my friends!
