Inspired by ShayCarl and Keith (the sparky at work) I've decided I'm tired of being fat and unfit. I'm getting back into walking and I'm attempting to run for the first time in my life.

I gained a gut over winter and a few kilo's, trying to get it off now. I think it is good to get fit, even just for longevity. I probably need to give up the smokes too, except I like it. You will probably need to get into the routine of doing it 6 days a week and resting on the 7th. All the best for 2012.

@DownUnderDoug It's the gut I want to get rid of. More interested in losing inches off the waist than kg's. I know what you mean about the smokes. I loved smoking.

A good brisk walk pace is all you need.....or ride a bicycle.....forget the running/jogging Sounder,

You'll bash the hell out of your knees bit by bit and really come to regret it when you get older.

Are you joining the Olinseloss team? I am inspired by Shay too! I started the raw diet last year, and then did the low carb thing. Now I am doing something where I know I will drop alot of weight, and I look forward to posting vids about it =)
