Where did you get this intake set-up??

love it at around 5000 rpm when it gets loudest, i have a custom intake i made myself, had to reset the battery a few times to get rid of the check engine light
-
just put an afe intake on my 2007 fj and it sounds exactly like that altho its much better sounding in real life then on camera, but it gives it such a better roar when u floor it, and more hp too

@Cheeny23 Well I can tell you I have on a standard car, a diesel turbo. The K&N provided less BHP than the paper element. A K&N induction kit was way down on power. I'm yet to try foam. The reason for the K&N reducing performance is to do with the way air flows in the filter housing. It's all balanced, so remove it and your car is slower and a lot noisier. My K&N also managed to have the oil sucked off by the turbo and deposited on the MAF sensor which then cost £200 to replace. K&N=no good.

@spdarkjoe What you mean is that the foam one filters to the high standard required by a modern engine. No air filter restricts flow in a car, they all are designed to supply far more air than the engine can use at full RPM. For filtration it is foam first, paper second and K&N last as they sandblast the engine. Air flow is good enough on all and doesn't restrict performance as K&N falsely claim to get sales. K&N don't say their products filter - so buyer beware.

K&N offers more air but true flow filters hold more dirt but less air.

wayy better than k&n for sure, the volant power core intakes are very great though. that would be something to try on a dyno.

it sounds cool
but i dont know if its all the intake cause i never heard a fj from inside
so does it work good
better than k&n and volent

I have never tried the either one of those so I can't compare, but I love this intake. I drove a FJ the other day without and intake and there is a difference in pick up and throttle response.
