Nothing better than late 70s/early 80s WWF action as far as I'm concerned. The low production value with venues comprised of "factory town civic centers" gave it most of its charm. The heels were so great back then. Very convincing in the mold of a James Bond villain as opposed to the trash-talking douche bag mold that the heel is shaped from today. It also didn't hurt that it seemed as if any of these heels would really break someone's neck for an extra $50 in their paycheck. So great.

Eddie Gilbert was the one whose neck was 'broken' in the Masked Superstar match. Rick McGraw's neck was broken by Killer Khan but not in this match. Before the end of THIS telecast they announced Rick McGraw was allright.

I wonder, even looking at this in slo-mo, how Killer Khan's character pulled off those knee drops on the cement. His left leg and knee are actually hitting the floor pretty hard (the exposed leg not cushioned by McGraw), as far as I can tell
