should the Nostalgia Critic see "Rock and Rule"?

@noqa It ran on the US cable channels HBO, SHOWTIME, CINEMAX, etc.. at odd times of the day in the mid 80's but haven't seen it since then.

I remember seeing this on HBO somewhere around 1987 so it was out there but I guess it was a limited availability thing. I wish I still had it on video. It was a badass movie for the time and the music was pretty hot. I always liked the comparison of Mok to Iggy Pop.

Thanks for posting that. I remember it when I was 14 yrs. old or so; it'd has stayed in my mind but I could never find it--I was searching all these years for Mot rather than Mok. Also, I didn't know there was an extended version. Great music, bass, guitar, attitude . . . everything. I love Mok!

Hey, this is a longer version of the song than what's in (my version) of the movie! Thank you for posting!!!!

It's a pity you can't get the extended version of the song on DVD--I think this may be the only place I've seen it since the 80's. Thanks for posting.
...and is it just me, or did Lou Reed look a LOT like Tom Hanks back then?

i loved the movie, so glad it came out in aus when i was a kid

There was no official soundtrack (if there was it was extremely limited release). I did find a site a few months ago that had all the songs on it - some studio, some from the movie. Too bad I don't have the link anymore.

Does anyone know anywhere the songs from Rock and Rule in the full versions are available?

Mok was designed to be a parody of Mick Jagger....the aging super-rocker motif.
It was released, just had really bad marketing and nobody saw it.
