Only meant for nostalgia, not trying to step on anyone's toes here, no copyright is claimed/assumed. Besides, the Ritz Thrift Shop ad is rather iconic for NY TV . Where else can an ad made in the early 1970s be running until almost the '90s? The good ol' days shouldn't be forgotten, and if you lived in the NY area a couple decades back, chances are you may remember this one. Oh, and it proves the point: you don't need a million to look like a million. (Oh, thank you.)
I just got a message from a friend:
Friend: "I was obsessed with this commercial when I was young."
Me: "That's because you're gay."

If this lady is still living today, she must be about 70 or 80 now.

This commercial actually debuted around '67. It ran for years and years.

The Ritz Thrift Shop was torn down about 5 years ago; there is an empty lot there now.

A friend and I were just talking about this. We were kids in the 1970's growing up in the NY area. Ahhh...simpler times.
