One of the interesting things is that this is the second and ONLY other time Lugosi played Dracula on film...coming nearly 20 after his initial debut, his command of the English language finally gave his portrayal of the fiend the edge to take it beyond camp despite the satirical setting of this film. He delivers the lines with some rather chilling gravity that makes for some nice to spice in this comic confection. Bravo, Sieur Lugosi!
