A Billion people don't have access to sufficient water and with water use growing at twice the rate of the population, water will surpass oil as the most desired and needed liquid. • @X1REME prepschoolkid didn't mean that everyone doesn't deserve water, they meant that with the global population is growing so much that the world cannot support us all. I don't mean we should go kill off people, but sickness, death, and birth control are there for a reason. I'm not saying that medicine is bad or we should all never have kids, but that we should try to teach people about birth control.

  • "Water Crisis - A Solution.wmv",, a new hand pump to make clean water

  • We need to increase our efforts in maximizing desalination and the harvesting of water from condensation plants. These are not answers but will help at least may bring some minor relief.

….and yes we need reduction in population. Educate about zero to no population growth. Not with force but education. I believe the best in humans, with education & understanding most would elect to Negative or Zero population control.

  • Stop having kids? That's like telling 8 million Americans to stop playing WoW. Where one activity is stunted, others grow. China simply chooses to divulge in both. What else would people do in poor countries? Admire their rugs?

  • People in poor countries need to stop having 10 to 15 kids.THEY ARE FUCKING RETARDED

  • @Shilastyle And if we do not do anything about our overpopulation, the natural forces will do it for us(Earthquakes, tornados, tsunamis, volcanoes, etc).

  • Dont say it as killing. It is only reducing the population.

  • @X1REME Yes I agree that everybody has a right to water, the fact of the matter is our explosive population growth is putting a strain on water resources. Water is only an infinite resource if used in a sustainable way. The Western US is facing water shortages, due to groundwater depletion and irrigation schemes and etc. The Colorado river is a trickle by the time it reaches Mexico. The Earth has a carrying capacity, we can't support infinite numbers of humans.....

  • @prepschoolkid

yeah sure, how about you kill yourself first so others can live....or did you mean kill others so you can live? water is for all people of this planet
