To the comments below, the sun appears to move across the sky, east to west, because the Earth is spinning west to east.

@justonemorename Obviously it doesn't move. But from a perspective of someone on earth, it moves across the sky.

Where I live the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, and it gets higher overhead in the summer.
Other than that, I agree, it doesn't move :-)
