After getting out of this buisness, his conclusions was that the ENTIRE PROCESS & Industry was CRUEL, INHUMANE, lacking in disclosure and of so little profit margin that it could never be REGULATED, to be humun by ANYONE,S STANDARDS. I am glad that this man had the guts to come forward. With what he is saying it enables action to be taken to solve problems if that happen, and for the people to look and solve. Personally I think more, smaller slaughter houses in each state, limiting the distance that horses travel, that all horses should be quarantined near the site, and every one available for sale to the public. the slaughter houses should be independently video supervised to prevent bad treatment.

It is not horse slaughter that we should be mad at. It is the haulers and buyers and the people against it. the buyers and killers should be responsible because they are the ones causing unnecessary abuse to the animals, and the people against it are making the matter worst! do you guys see that the more you fight it the worst the conditions are going to be for the horse. open up slaughter in the usa, make it have conditions and laws.

@ashleylangworthy How can you be so heartless!? Don't you know of a thing called being terrified out of your mind? That is what horses are feeling when they are being shipped off. They are half dying because of the neglect they suffered from their previous owners (which btw should be charged with animal cruelty not paid for their neglect). Americans don't want to eat horses. We built our country with horses. Why would we want to betray them like that!?

Great video. This video should be seen by everyone and prove to everyone that slaughter houses are inhumane. There are humane ways "disposing" of horses. The conditions these horses are in often worsen their state at the actual slaughter house. Put more horse up for adoption! Stop slaughtering animals who helped build our country. Wherever there was a human footprint, there was a hoof print right next to it. How can we betray our partners like this?

@ashleylangworthy If horses have to be slaughtered, which I am totally against, there is no reason on this God given earth that they should be treated in this most horrific and brutal way. You people that are in this bloody business are in it either for the money, you hate horses or you get off on inflicting unnecessary cruel abuse of them. WE Americans DO NOT want horses sent to slaughter as an end of life option!!

Besides being full of cancer causing medications, horses are companion animals and a native american species of wildlife. We don't slaughter EAGLES and we do NOT eat our PETS.

50,000 horses are stolen each year and never seen again. The U.S. Department of the Interior employees poach wild horses and send them to slaughter. As admitted in the video our horses are poached and shipped over the borders.
