@PAES525 because in italy you mustn't say something against communist (and i can tell this because i live in italy)
-
@tecumseh1175 Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Ramones were not as "anti-communist as they come". I don't know if you've listened to songs like "Havana Affair", or "I'm against it" or "Howling at the Moon", but the Ramones didn't keep things black and white on the issue. And my reading of the lyrics is that it's critical of American foreign policy. If that's wrong, then give me your take. I'm not creating any hysteria just commenting on my interpretation of the lyrics. Don't be a dick.

@Atombombmother lol I dont think so! Can you give your anti-american hysteria a rest. This isnt the time or place for your ignorance. If you actually knew something that wasnt spoon fed to you, youd know that the Ramones are as anti-communist as they come. Even for United states standards.

@PAES525 I think I hear Dee Dee singing it. Sometimes he takes lines to give Joey a rest.

Perhaps Joey didn't want to push his voice too hard on that part (it's a higher note). Dunno, I just guess...
