Jackie, I had back surgery and they paralyzed my right leg completely. They said they didn't know if it would ever function again and three months later it finally moved with my command. I was shocked and I went through months of daily physiotherapy and here I am three years later walking normal again only with slight nerve damage which is minimal compared to what I was facing. So my point is I faced full paralyzation and here I am walking. There is hope for you sweety. Realistic hope. Believe!

Jackieat 23 you are young and naturally thinking of becoming dead is understood. What you have to understand is that though you are''crippled" you are a lot more stronger than you could ever imagine. The main thing is to never give up,give in or back down and never surrender to no one. Become miss Bitch. I'm 47 and my enemy was DIABETES 2 and it dominated my life. I chose to kill it. After my GBS in 2008 I now weigh at 240lbs and no D2. BTW you are very hot! Consider you lucky we never met......

Who in USA pay rehabilitation center assistence? Is it free for all people like here in all europe or not?

no you dont!!!!!
Jackie, be encouraged - it gets better ! ... I've been in a chair since 1976 ... I broke my neck in a car accident too ... I'm technically a C6-C7 Quad ... it was hard at first ... I was angry ... I was afraid and uncertain ... but after awhile, as I started getting used to the "new me", things starterd getting better ... I'm in my 33rd year now, and I'm healthy and happy ... I wish the same for you ... Hey, life is what you make of it, so go make it Great !
