This is about Romaine Brooks, an expatriate artist in the 1920s. It was a final project for my Book Arts class at Mills. I took a different approach from my wushu film by trying to allow the art and music to guide the tone without narration. I'm not crazy about it but still wanted to share it to get feedback on how to improve my filmmaking skills. Please keep it positive and helpful feedback. And, I recognize the smaller text is harder to read, but that was imovie losing quality when I exported it.
THANK YOU

This is a wonderful piece or work, with beautiful music.
I've always loved Romaine's portraits, especially of herself as Peter.
Thanks for making this!

very moving--great choice of artwork, pacing, storytelling and music. just a suggestion: it would be cool to have her last painting show up at the very end. thanks for posting!
