So do you put oil on the canvas when you paint ? I've heard some artists do that. Do you put anything at all on the canvas before painting ?

@AicentBlaichez yes I put a base medium on it usually a thin ,very thin oil paint or linseed oil.

i have a few fanbrushes but when i dipp it in paint the bristles stick to each other i think it is because the bristles are syntetic ... what are your brstles made of?

@avinavin15 I use Natural hair brushes it is a stiff bristle, China Bristles
the liner I use is synthetic it is a 4050L princeton, and I use #3 and #6 princeton 5200 fan brushes.
