  • This tune, and especially Wardell's sound, style and solo, sound almost identical to what the Lighthouse all Stars sounded like when I used to go to Hermosa Beach, to hear Howard Rumsey and his group, with tenor man Bob Cooper having picked up the Wardell Gray torch. Artistic poetic revenge, Bob Cooper became a main tenor man to listen to in Vegas, during the '80s. Gray died there, and some think may have been murdered.

  • how amazing!!!
