  • Aloha Diamond:

The first tune you played at the Kokua for Japan, a flamenco type... what is the title? Great, great performance!

    Many mahalos,

    Rob

  • @hawaiirob

    Mahalo hawaiirob.

It was somewhat improvised. However, the main part was TOCCATTA by Johan Sebastian Bach, although I changed it quite a bit to fit the ukulele. thank u so much!

  • Mahalo for writing.

Pava was a treasure to us all.

I really miss him a lot.

  • I found this video looking up Dick Dale footage. I saw him and his son Jimmy play a gig in Portland. Anyway back to YOU! You have extreme talent and really put emotion into the music! Fantastic job and PLEASE post more. I'm subscribing to your channel. Did I mention that I REALLY ENJOY THIS!?!

  • @ShonenAltec

  • @Napolianboo Did you mean Habanera aus "Carmen" by Georges Bizet?

    All my best,

    Rob

  • she is beautiful... and frigging talented

  • i love that songs, and really after hearing this, she had become one of my favorite musicians, playing kind of the best versions of that songs

  • mahalos! any more videos on youtube with Pava and Tahiti? I played percussion for them from '97 to '01.Last time I jammed with them was 2005.I was a little worried about Pava then.I had a bad feeling that would be the last time.I wished he could have hung in there longer. They're such beautiful guys with the true aloha spirit. I have so many memories of our late night jam sessions.

    Doyle.
