Billy Joel (arr. Richard Joo) - Waltz #1 (Nunley's Carousel), Op. 2

This is from his Fantasies And Delusions CD, which consists of all piano solos. I believe there are no other recordings of this up on YouTube, so I'm proud to say mine is the first.

  • Okay now I've listened to the rest of your concert twice. Great job would be an understatement. Did you spend all four years at Boston working on this?

Thanks so much for the comments. Everything I played I pretty much spent my last three college years working on. Don't forget to check out my most recent video performance, just search "Kieran Ridge Liszt Widmung" or something like that.

I think you are absolutely right. I was just looking for them after hearing the mp3s of this great album. I am a huge billy joel fan and a classically trained pianist so what more could you ask for. Anyways thanks for performing my favorite piece of the album beautifully. You are very talented! o and Billy Joel Rocks!!!

  • Man i have been looking for this for a while now, i am glad you have this on here!!! :3

  • Well, so this is Joel's attempt at "serious music?" Better he stayed in his own milieu and not mess around with trying to be something he's obviously not.

  • Thanks for being the first! I was furious that no one had posted this on youtube until I found your video. You played great, I loved it!

This is my favorite song by Billy Joel; probably one of my favorites period.

  • It's interesting that your points of emphasis and expression are quite different to mine. This has been one of my favourite pieces for several years now. I'll upload a recording eventually. Nice job!
