The other one is that punching is primary in most martial arts.
Perhaps you don't know that hand techniques are an integral part of traditional Taekwon-do. The word "kwon" which means hand has great significance. It's actually a concept of hand techniques which is limitless. It includes the use of all the hand parts including elbow.
Taekwon-do teaches how to move in any direction while performing any technique, hand or foot. Such skills are very valuable.

скажу честно я занимался теквон-до четире года.уже третий год как я перестал ходить на тренировки.когда я посмотрел это видео первый раз я просто плакал 8).это странно но я просто понял что если бы я захотел то возможно и добился бы большего результата...ты действительно великая спортсменка катя,хочу чтобы ты знала: ты и это видео вернули ко мне любовь к тренировкам и к спорту
