Por todo lo que he leido al respecto y es bastante, Domingo no ha sido el favorito del Met. es uno de los tantos que han actuando en él. se podría decir eso sobre el gran Franco Corell quién desde su debut hasta su retiro voluntario actuo a tablero vuelto en ése y por 16 años seguido.

This is one of my favourite opera duets, and to see it performed so wonderfully by not only two great, handsome, talented singers but also a legendary operatic partnership is just amazing. Thank you so much for posting.

@TheBunduBallerina Dear firend,it was edited by VAI Musica and this was a gift of maestro Milnes to this humble fan, when I assisted to his master class.It is in VHS format, and is a recopilation of the best arias and duetts done by this wonderful artist and teacher, that sang with so many other great stars of the lyrical music world. I guess is better to have a good "offical" copy in DVD version by Vai Music. My best regards.

Bravii!!! I have this video signed by Sherril Milnes in person; it happened during a Master Class he gave,in where I asisted years ago...he was a kind and wonderful teacher and a real gentleman.Bravooo!!!!!

So young, so charismatic, such great voices. The 1970s were good times for opera; how great that, after the bleakness of the 1980s (when some classical stations would not even play opera - I'm lookin' at you, KINGFM in Seattle), Domingo helped to touch off the opera explosion with the 3 tenors that has brought the genre to new heights in these last twenty years.
