I love the Detroit Historical Museum, and this movie makes me love it that much more!

2:02 , box fail. Play-doh?
-
Of course it is a parody on the golden age of silent movies. Maybe a project from film students. The villain is clearly a mix of Vincent Price and the ever so evil Snidely Wiplash.

This movie couldn't have been made in 1905 cuz of the hair do at 1:42 is a short modern day cut for ladies. Women generally did not cut their hair until 1920s customarily. It wasn't until Bernice Bobs Her Hair in the 20s that women cut their hair in the stylish Bob in the 20s.

Great attention to detail in this movie, it really gives you those old timey tickles.

Oh, you must have had SO much fun making this! Such attention to details, too. I love it. Really the only thing that gives it away is the hair and makeup, and I don't think there's much more anyone could have done to make it "more accurate," given today's hairstyles that actors have. So, who are these wonderful actors? :)

@DoubleCresentFilms Very funny.
Good job guys. I'd like to see one from the 1920s .

Guys this is amazing!!! Great job!!!

@DoubleCresentFilms Meaning I appreciated the video mate.
Very well done. It is most evident that a lot of work went into this. I felt like I was back in 1916 at the local movie house.
