No, this music is really terrible. It sounds like carnival music.. Probably highlights how Robotnik (no, wait, "Eggman") is portrayed as a comical villain, rather than the sometimes-funny yet badass villain he was in the previous games. Which is really a shame. Sonic 4 is a good game, but it's not a Sonic sequel in my eyes personally. It should be called Sonic 6, since it's a mish-mash of Sonic 1 plus Sonic 2 plus Sonic 3, with a whole bunch of unwanted gameplay elements of Sonic Adventure 2.
