The novel is amazing! Read it. My favorite non-Stephen King book! Seriously wayyyyy better than the film.

When the mobile phone rang although it was crushed I told my friend : “Wow, big surprise, the plants are ringing.” Then the revealing moment came: IT WAS THEM F’CKIN’ PLANTS! Dun, dun DUUUUUUN!
This was one of my very rare instant “Fuck you” moments. And I had to sit through this mess in a cinema, not at home with an emergency movie alternative at hand.
I’ve had my share of shitty films, but I’d rather watch Bubba Ho-Tep twenty times in a row than watch this crap again.

I love The Ruins... one of my favorite of all time.
It was sad, creepy and gory all in one movie. Perfect. I know you reviewed it as you didn't like it. But yeah,,,, xD

@MoonPhase94 Fine by me. I'm too chickenshit to try any of that stuff, but I applaud the people who do and succeed. And yes, I know white people aren't the only explorers. Matthew Henson and Ibn Battuta are two people of color who come to mind.
