Not to mention that Jesus held that divorce for any purpose other than adultery was adulterous in itself, so Brit Hume would be committing adultery according to Jesus if he is actually in his second marriage. Unless his first wife committed adultery, in which case his ex-wife would probably be in a better position to give marriage counselling.

Jesus said it'd be better for adulterers to pluck out their eyes rather than lust after a woman in their heart. Or in Bill O'Reilly's case, his ears.

@tuck295q Sorry if I came across a little anal.
-
@californiarednek sorry, meant to say I'm an agnostic/pantheist hybrid :P
-
@tuck295q The term "agnostic" doesn't deal with belief. I am not saying you are not agnostic, that just doesn't make indication of what you do or don't believe.

How does this man know NOTHING about buddhism

Religion is toxic. Fox is pure B.S. . Brit Hume is an idiot. Thank you, come again.

There are plenty of other ways to have a happy life as a community and for individual, he said. I'm not Buddhist tho LOL
I'm agnostic. Nature is god and that's why it just doesn't give a shit and things are the way it is.

or getting worse, but it's different kind of problem but still is damaging. In the most original explanation from Buddha, gay is never spoken off at all but here is a catch. Homosexuality shouldn't really and shouldn't become a monk, it will really do nothing for you. You see, monk suppose to have no lustrous or sexual attraction as much as possible. Buddha might be asexual who knows, but I believe so. It will also be very unfair as well. I'm gay and I understand that. contin'd

Agressively chased away Christian believers in 1900s, I think. Buddhism is based on philosophy of life (originally) and what it suppose to be. You could say that Buddha is just someone like Aristotle but worshiped as god. I don't think he would be happy if he is worshiped like this. The deal is, when these sec is believed as religion, people become more superstitious and malicious somehow. This situation becomes another the type of tool to control people. It's probably just as bad... contin'd
@SoldierofChrist12345
Well it certainly confuses me a bit about Christianity.
Since it basically seems to boil down to:
"Do whatever you want, as long as you occasionally say "I'm sorry" to an invisible sky man"
And frankly, if conservative Christians were truly "Christ-like" they'd share a of a lot more in common with Buddist Monks.
Treating selfishness as a sin, rather than their highest virtue.
