Arlington National Cemetery during and after the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers in Dec 2003. The sentinal coming off the mat is my boy Richardson, I'm going on and changing us is "SSG Rob." This video was made during mine and Richardsons training cycle. Unfortunately I never completed training so I don't have the Tomb Badge.

  • Did you know Honor Guard Badge of the Tomb Guards is the 2nd least awarded badge in the Army, 2nd only to the Army Astronaut Badge. Only 400 something have been awarded in 70 years.

  • They are actually into the 500s now. But this is true about the astronaut badge, which I think is no longer awarded.

  • Did you ever work with a guy called SSgt Picash while you were a sentinel?

  • The name doesn't ring a bell. When was he down there?

  • Maybe late January 2007.

  • I don't know him. I left TUS years ago and have lived in CA for almost 2 years now. Sorry.
