how to automatically feed fish via your computer:

1. top of 2 liter bottle, inverted
2. chopstick
3. tupperware
4. shoebox, cut in half
5. duct tape
6. 1-Motor Phidget USB Servo Controller Kit (~$40)

  • @yofullcoolchillout I took a shoebox, and cut it in half. I took a 2 liter bottle, and cut the top off. I put a chopstick through one half of the shoebox and the bottle top. I duct taped the motor to the bottom of the shoebox half, and duct taped a little patch of cardboard onto the motor arm to cover the bottle hole.

  • @yofullcoolchillout I put this half of the shoebox over the second half. I bought some gladware. I put the gladware underneath. I cut a hole in the top shoebox half for the stuff to fall through. I hooked the motor's USB end into my computer. I told it to swing the arm forward and back quickly. I took a video of it and put it on youtube.

  • @crispychick1 naw you just let a little out each day to feed the fish! it can last for weeks.
