A group of civil society organisations in the country is accusing a clique of politicians of spearheading a smear campaign on the new draft. The group calling itself the national civil society congress says the politicians are emphasizing only the negative aspects of the harmonized draft constitution. The organizations have also warned politicians against linking the review process to the 2012 general election.

  • Government should be run by competent individuals & not political thugs. The cabinet should not be composed of politicians.

  • Edenskid, I share your frustration on this issue but it is reality that we have to live with.We lack capacity to do so many things and so much money, development funds(from donors and gov) is unspent due to lack of capacity. This is not just a problem of developing countries, though it is endemic in these countries Kenya included, but in developed countries too.Its sad but is a fact humanity have to live with unless perfect markets obtain

Imagine they left money in the account lying there while Kenyans die of Aids, TB and Malaria!!! These are the issues we should fight about. Beth Mugo. Uhuru Kenyatta. PM. Kibaki. Anyang Nyongo. ETC. Why did they not spend this money on Kenyans???
