  • Hey Ranae! I was in Mayo in 07. You used to come in and use the bicycle machine while I was in therapy. I got to use it on my last day there, was great! I still stay in touch with Jayne. Good to see you on here. Wish I would have visited with you more.

  • are there ways of getting paraplegics to walk again?

  • this is a good example of how people can & do overcome these injuries. like she said, it is scary & new at first, but over time, it becomes a comfortable routine. i was very discouraged at first, but when i look back at how much progress i've made, it is amazing. it is very helpful to see other people with similar injuries doing activites, because it proves that it CAN be done. seeing that someone else can do it gives me the confidence that i can do it too.

  • I have a friend who is a c-7/8, t-1 injury and he is having a difficult time of it. This video was quite helpful and perhaps I can make suggestions to my friend.
