The fan that is moving the surface water is ruining all your effort! water surface should only move at night!!!

@manta965 it shouldnt matter on if u get more fish or not, diy cant just shut off!! you may divert the flow of it but thats more work and isnt as usefull vs a real co2 set up where it can shut it off. if your worried then just get better suface agitation = more co2 exchange due to surface area.

@zerocool212121 but at night they take in oxygen so if you ever get more fish turn the co3 off at night and use an air pump
