  • holy crap, he called it exactly as it happened, that's amazing. Why isn't he working for SI or ESPN?

    Or is he?

  • Not to mention, (the Patriots) were in the worst division in the league! Jets and Dolphins were the worst two teams! If Brady was really good, he would scramble and avoid a sack! He lacks atletic skills! Now we know he can't score without a good Offensive line!

  • @dotcomrgv if they are in fact the worst, how did they reach the super-bowl multiple times?

Nobody can score without an offensive line. If you are questioning Tom Brady's skill, then you have been living under a rock for the past decade. As far as the division goes, the patriots played some of the best teams in the league in 2007. They played the Cowboys (13-3), and beat them down 48-27. They played the Redskins (9-7), and beat them 52-7. They played the Colts (12-4), won 24-20. Steelers (10-6), 34-13. Giants (10-6), 38-35. Chargers (11-5), twice, 38-14 and 21-12. GMAB.

  • This guy was 10000% CORRECT!!!!

  • Great prediction.

    It happened.

The Giants shocked the football world.

  • Of course they loset. Only reason they ever won, was Brady had the other teams plays in advance. Didn't have them here. Brady will go down as the most overrated cheater in history.

  • @drbayoms I don't see where you drawing this from? The Chargers were hurt in the 2007 AFC title game without a healthy Rivers and LT out.. the Patriots still barely won.. meaning they were 18-0 but playing far from it even before the Giants Super Bowl victory. My point about the other Super Bowl's was that the Patriots had great momentum going into those games.. whereas they were a team on the quick decline from december 2007 on.

  • @MarkPatriots

So EVERY single time the Patriots won an AFC Championship or SuperBowl their competition in those games were perfectly healthy? I agree with your other comments, but that one was off.

  • Great analysis here. The Patriots defense struggled vs. the Giants, Jaguars and Chargers leading up the Patriots-Giants Super Bowl rematch. We were lucky in retrospect that we had won the AFC title game had it not been for the San Diego injuries. I didn't have much confidence in the Patriots following the AFC victory. I was more like this isn't like the typical Patriots AFC title game victory. Before SB42, I was uncharacteristically nervous unlike before SB36, 38 and 39.

  • @dotcomrgv Keep in mind Brady had an ankle injury during AFC title game and wore a walking boot in weeks before Super Bowl. So scrambling for him wasn't an option. He was sitting duck for Strahan, Tuck and Osi.
